Two hours of villas, villages and the magic of Nesso
The tour can depart from Como or, on request, another agreed boarding point. We work around your needs and confirm the available options together. Aboard your private boat, with your skipper at the helm, we follow the shores past villas, gardens and small villages viewed directly from the water.
On the outward journey we follow the eastern shore: Villa Troubetzkoy and the Mandarin Oriental in Blevio, then Il Sereno and the village of Torno. We continue past Villa Pliniana in its secluded green setting, before passing Pognana Lario and reaching Nesso.
One of the route’s most beautiful views awaits: Ponte della Civera, the village houses and the gorge and waterfall behind them. We take time to admire the scene and capture your photos from the boat, preserving a special perspective on the lake.
On our return we follow the western shore past Brienno towards Laglio. Here we admire Villa Regina Teodolinda and Villa Oleandra, known as George Clooney’s home. We continue towards Carate Urio and Moltrasio, passing the lido and Villa Fontanelle, associated with Gianni Versace.
The final stretch takes us towards Cernobbio, past Villa Pizzo, Villa d’Este and Villa Erba, before returning to the agreed location.

Is the price per person or per boat?
The price is €550 for the whole boat for a 2-hour private tour. Your group has exclusive use of Dolce Far Niente, with a skipper.
What is included?
The private boat, skipper, fuel, life jackets and sun canopy are included. One bottle of prosecco is included for your group.
Can we board somewhere other than Como?
Yes, you can request a different departure point. We confirm whether pickup is possible, the return point, any transfer charges and how the route will be adapted before booking.
Can we go ashore during this tour?
This itinerary is enjoyed from the boat, without visits inside the villas. There is time for photographs from the boat at Nesso.
How do I request this package?

Weather, cancellations & your deposit.
What happens if bad weather is forecast?
We monitor the forecast in the days before your booking. Depending on the expected conditions, we contact you to arrange a change of date or cancellation. If we cancel because of bad weather and you cannot reschedule, we refund the full amount you have paid. Please stay in touch with us before your departure.
When should I cancel my booking?
Cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled departure to receive a refund of your booking deposit. If you cancel less than 48 hours before departure, your booking deposit is not refundable.
What if Rent Boat Como cancels for reasons on its side?
If we cancel your booking for reasons on our side, we refund the full amount you have paid.

Before you step aboard.
You may bring your own drinks. Food is generally not permitted aboard private tours. Drinks available on board and included in the price depend on the package you choose.
Children are welcome. Include children in your total group size when you enquire. Pets require prior approval: tell us the type of animal and, for a dog, its breed and size, so we can confirm acceptance for your boat.
Swimming is possible when the location and conditions are suitable. Agree any swimming stop with your skipper within your booked programme and duration.
