We reach Bellagio on the promontory dividing the Como and Lecco branches, then continue towards Varenna. On this tour you can also go ashore for a walk, an aperitivo or a bite to eat, choosing your preferred stop option.

The four-hour tour adds the opportunity to go ashore and explore the villages independently. Choose between two alternatives, agreed with your skipper:

Prefer to explore one village at a slower pace? Choose Bellagio or Varenna for a single stop of around two hours: explore the centre, enjoy an aperitivo or sit down for a bite before returning aboard.
These are alternative options, and the stops are included within the four-hour tour. The schedule and cruising times are agreed with your skipper according to the boarding point and lake conditions. Village visits are independent. Meals, aperitivi, other refreshments and admission to villas or attractions are not included in the tour price.

Four hours of villas, Bellagio and Varenna
The four-hour tour follows the three-hour route and continues beyond Bellagio to Varenna. Alongside your private cruise, you can go ashore and explore the villages independently.
Starting in Como, we pass Villa Troubetzkoy and the Mandarin Oriental in Blevio, Il Sereno and Villa Pliniana in Torno, then Pognana Lario and Nesso’s gorge, with Ponte della Civera and the waterfall. We continue past Lezzeno to Bellagio, then reach Varenna.
Spend around 50 minutes in Bellagio and 50 in Varenna, or choose a single village for an approximately two-hour stop. These are alternative options within the total tour duration.
We return along the western shore: Tremezzo, Villa del Balbianello, Villa La Cassinella, Comacina Island and Argegno. Continue past Brienno and Laglio, Villa Regina Teodolinda and Villa Oleandra, then Carate Urio, the Lido di Moltrasio and Villa Fontanelle. Villa Pizzo, Villa d’Este and Villa Erba in Cernobbio accompany the return to Como.
A departure point other than Como can be agreed. Your skipper will plan the route and stops with you according to the boarding location and lake conditions.

Is the price per person or per boat?
The price is €1,000 for the whole boat for a 4-hour private tour. Your group has exclusive use of Dolce Far Niente, with a skipper.
What is included?
The private boat, skipper, fuel, life jackets and sun canopy are included. One bottle of prosecco is included for your group.
Can we board somewhere other than Como?
Yes, you can request a different departure point. We confirm whether pickup is possible, the return point, any transfer charges and how the route will be adapted before booking.
Can we go ashore during this tour?
You can choose 50 minutes in Bellagio and 50 minutes in Varenna, or a two-hour stop in just one of the villages. These are alternative options within the four-hour duration; the schedule is confirmed with your skipper.
How do I request this package?

Weather, cancellations & your deposit.
What happens if bad weather is forecast?
We monitor the forecast in the days before your booking. Depending on the expected conditions, we contact you to arrange a change of date or cancellation. If we cancel because of bad weather and you cannot reschedule, we refund the full amount you have paid. Please stay in touch with us before your departure.
When should I cancel my booking?
Cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled departure to receive a refund of your booking deposit. If you cancel less than 48 hours before departure, your booking deposit is not refundable.
What if Rent Boat Como cancels for reasons on its side?
If we cancel your booking for reasons on our side, we refund the full amount you have paid.

Before you step aboard.
You may bring your own drinks. Food is generally not permitted aboard private tours. Drinks available on board and included in the price depend on the package you choose.
Children are welcome. Include children in your total group size when you enquire. Pets require prior approval: tell us the type of animal and, for a dog, its breed and size, so we can confirm acceptance for your boat.
Swimming is possible when the location and conditions are suitable. Agree any swimming stop with your skipper within your booked programme and duration.
